While we have selected the music programs for 2022-23, we are actively seeking our next partners to join us for 2023 - 2024. We invite you to find out more in the prospectus for this year and complete this expression of interest form if you are interested to join us for the Firebird Fellowship 2023 - 2024. Please note that as AIM is an innovation lab, this year's prospectus can give you an indication of our approach and the Firebird journey, but each year will evolve.
Firebird Fellowship
The Firebird Fellowship is AIM's investment in teachers as the vital change agents for tackling inequality through music education.
What is the Firebird Fellowship?
40 teachers from pioneering music for social action programs commit to a 15-month learning journey to become outstanding teachers. They do it together - they are the Firebird Fellowship.
In a combination of interactive online and in-person learning, Fellows delve into the fundamentals of teaching, guided by expert coaches and international artists and supported by a global community of peers.

5 Pillars of Practice
5 Pillars of practice articulate key areas of growth that Firebird Fellows are looking to activate in their students. Not only do these pillars guide the Fellows’ approach to teaching, they also underpin AIM’s approach to training teachers, who need and deserve to experience the same transformational learning they want to bring to their music spaces.
